The highly-anticipated next-generation Renault Duster is set to make its India debut on January 26, 2025, followed soon by its market launch. In the midsize SUV segment, it will face challenge from the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. The previous generation Duster was discontinued in 2022 due to poor sales, lack of timely updates and increased competition.
All-New Design Language
The 2026 Renault Duster will be an integral part of the brand’s ‘renault.rethink’ product strategy for India. The SUV will feature a new design language and sit on the modular CMG-B platform. The design and styling of the new Duster will be similar to the model sold in global markets. Spy images confirm that the SUV will carry bold, upright stance along with massive wheel arch cladding, a shark fin antenna, a roof-mounted spoiler, V-shaped taillamps, rear washer and wiper and a raked windshield.

Upfront, the new Renault Duster 2026 will spot a new signature grille with the brand’s updated logo, Y-shaped LED lighting elements, and a sculpted bonnet. Other design highlights will include blacked-out B-pillars and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, newly-designed alloy wheels, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and body-coloured door handles.
Premium Interior
The interior of the 2026 Renault Duster will be significantly more premium and upmarket than its previous generation. While official details are yet to be revealed, the SUV is expected to come with features such as a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, OTA updates, rear AC vents, rear parking sensors, rear view camera, multiple airbags, ADAS and more.
Petrol Engines Only
The all-new Duster will be offered with petrol engines only. According to reports, Renault might use the 156bhp, 1.3L turbo petrol and 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engines. The latter could be exclusively available with the lower variants. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.
