Skoda India has dropped the first teaser of the upcoming Kushaq facelift ahead of its market launch. The teaser shows the model covered in a green veil, highlighting its silhouette. While the launch date and detailed specifications will be officially revealed in the coming days, the new Skoda Kushaq 2026 facelift is likely to receive minimal design changes along with significant feature enhancements. Mechanically, the SUV might remain unchanged.

The front fascia is likely to derive design elements from the Kyalq subcompact SUV. The new Kushaq is expected to feature a redesigned front grille and headlamps, larger fog lamp assembly and new Kodiaq-inspired connected DRLs. Other key highlights could include blacked-out alloy wheels, a revised rear bumper and connected taillamps.

The interior is expected to witness significant upgrades with features such as a panoramic sunroof and Level 2 ADAS (autonomous driving assistance system). Reports suggest that the SUV might also come with a 360 degree camera, a larger infotainment system, ventilated front seats, new trims and upholstery.

New Skoda Kushaq 2026 – Engine Specs

The updated Kushaq will continue to come with the 1.0 TSI petrol and 1.5L TSI turbocharged petrol engine options. The 1.0L engine pushes out a maximum power of 115bhp and 178Nm of toque, while the 1.5L motor offers power worth 150bhp and 250Nm. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque convertor automatic and a 7-speed DCT automatic.

New Skoda Kushaq 2026 – Price Expectation

With subtle cosmetic and feature updates, the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected to witness a minimal price hike. The SUV lineup is currently available within the price range of Rs 10.66 lakh – Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). In the midsize SUV segment, the updated Kushaq will continue to compete against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Tata Sierra and others.
