Here’s the detailed car sales report of March 2026.
Maruti Car Sales Report
In March 2026, Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 225,251 units. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 169,428 units, sales to other OEM of 8,783 units and exports of 47,040 units.
For the financial year 2025-26, the Company achieved total sales of 2,422,713 units, domestic sales of 1,861,704 units, and exports of 447,774 units, all these three figures being the highest-ever for the company.
Maruti Suzuki has also achieved its highest-ever export volume of over 4.47 lakh vehicles in FY 2025-26. This is a robust growth of more than 34 per cent over FY 2024-25.
Hyundai Car Sales Report
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) achieved total Q4 sales of 2,08,275 units in the January to March 2026 period, reporting a healthy YoY growth of 8.7%. This includes domestic Q4 sales of 1,66,578 units (+8.5% YoY) – HMIL’s highest-ever quarterly tally for domestic sales since inception and Q4 export contribution of 41,697 units (+9.4% YoY).
HMIL also achieved total monthly sales of 69,004 units in March 2026, including domestic sales of 55,064 units and exports of 13,940 units. This marks HMIL’s highest-ever tally for domestic sales for the month of March since its inception.
Kia Car Sales Report
Kia India has announced its best-ever sales performance for the month of March at 29,112 units, registering a robust 14.5% y-o-y growth over 25,525 units sold in March 2025. The company also delivered its strongest-ever quarterly performance, with Q1 2026 sales at 84,316 units, registering an 11.6% increase over 75, 576 units in Q1 2025.
The new Kia Seltos drives growth momentum by consistently achieving over 10,000 units in monthly sales since launch.
MG Car Sales Report
JSW MG Motor India recorded 19% Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) growth in March 2026 compared to the same month in 2025.The company registered the sales figure of 6528 wholesale units, reflecting sustained momentum across its Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and New Energy Vehicle (NEV) portfolios.
In line with evolving market dynamics, JSW MG Motor India has announced a price increase of up to 2%* across its MG portfolio, effective April 1, 2026. This adjustment is intended to partially offsetting the impact of continuously rising input costs.
Additionally, the company will implement a price hike of up to 7%* on the MG SELECT portfolio, effective April 1, 2026 including flagship models such as the MG Cyberster and MG M9.
Skoda Car Sales Report
Škoda Auto India continues its strong growth trajectory into 2026, recording its highest-ever quarterly sales in Q1 (January–March) with 20,028 units sold. This is a growth of 17% over the 17,138 cars sold in the same period last year. Škoda Auto India’s performance has been led by the strong and consistent demand for the Kylaq, which recently crossed the 50,000 sales milestone, the introduction of the new Kushaq, steady contribution from the Slavia, and the continued demand for the Kodiaq in the premium SUV segment.
Renault Car Sales Report
Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of the French automaker Renault Group, reports a robust year-on-year growth of 77% in March with total domestic wholesales of 5,046 units over 2,846 units in the same month a year ago.
Likewise, a double-digit growth trajectory was seen in the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, with total sales of 42,018 units, over the 37,900 units sold in FY25 – a growth of 11%. New Renault Kiger and new Triber continues to maintain solid momentum, jointly accounting for 63% of overall March sales and reinforcing customer confidence in the updated lineup.
