The third-generation Renault Duster is all set to make its India debut on Republic Day next year – i.e. 26th January, 2026. The India-spec version might receive a few market-specific changes, while retaining most of the design elements, features and components from its global counterpart. Initially, the SUV will be offered with petrol engines only. The hybrid variant is expected to join the lineup at a later stage.
Once launched, the new Renault Duster will face challenge from the segment-leader – the Hyundai Creta along with rivals like the Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and other midsize SUVs.

Mature Design
Compared to its predecessor, the 2026 Renault Duster features a more mature and evolved design language. The SUV gets headlamps and taillamps with Y-shaped elements, sporty bumpers, squared wheel arches, pronounced body cladding and new diamond-cut alloy wheels will enhance its modern looks. Similar to the global-spec model, the India-bound Duster might offer an approach angle of 31 degrees and a departure angle of 36 degrees.
Interior & Features
The new Renault Duster is likely to offer a driver-oriented cabin layout. While the official feature list is yet to be revealed, the SUV is expected to come with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch colour driver display, 6-speaker Arkamys audios system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, front, side and rear parking sensors, electric parking brake, a 360-degree camera, hill hold assist, electronic stability control, three-point seatbelts for all seats, multiple airbags, Level 2 ADAS suite and more.
Petrol Only SUV (at launch)
In select global markets, the 2026 Renault Duster is offered with a 1.3L petrol EDC and a 1.2L mild hybrid petrol powertrain. The same engine options are likely to be offered with the India-spec model. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. The higher trims could be offered exclusively with a 4X4 drivetrain option.
