Must Read

Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to launch two major products in the coming months – the XEV 9S and the updated XUV700. The Mahindra XEV 9S, essentially the electric iteration of the XUV700, will make debut on 27th November. The new Mahindra XUV700 facelift, on the other hand, will go on sale in early 2026. Ahead of its market arrival, the model is undergoing extensive testing and has been caught on camera multiple times.

XEV 9e-Inspired Design

Spy images reveal that the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will feature a newly-designed grille with larger air inlets, redesigned headlamp clusters with a twin pod-like design (similar to the XEV 9e) and new lighting signature. The front and rear bumpers might also be revised. The SUV is likely to come with the newly-designed, aero-optimized alloy wheels.

Triple Screens & More

The interior is expected to receive significant changes. While the official details are still under the wraps, the updated XUV700 might feature a triple screen setup similar to the one seen in the XEV 9e. A redesigned dashboard, a Harman/Kardon audio system and a few additional features could also be part of the package.

Petrol & Diesel Engines

Mechanically, the new 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift is likely to remain unchanged. This means the SUV will continue to come with the 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engine options. While the gasoline unit delivers a maximum power of 200bhp and 380Nm of torque, the oil burner produces 155bhp/185bhp and 360Nm/450Nm.

Transmission choices will include the same 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor automatic unit. The AWD (all-wheel drive) system will continue to be available with the diesel-automatic combo.

Price Hike Expected

A minimal price is expected for the facelifted XUV700. Currently, the SUV lineup is available at a starting price of Rs 13.66 lakh for the base variant and Rs 23.71 lakh for the top-end variant. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
