The iconic Tata Sierra nameplate has finally made a grand comeback in India. Priced from Rs 11.49 lakh onwards, the SUV model lineup comes in seven trims – Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+.

Official bookings will open on December 16, 2025, while deliveries are scheduled to begin on January 16, 2026. As of now, the carmaker has announced the base variant’s price, the complete variant-wise price list will be revealed in the first few weeks of December. However, the brand has already released the detailed variant-wise feature list. Let’s take a look.


Petrol & Diesel Engine Specs
Based on the ARGOS platform, the Tata Sierra marks the debut of the brand’s all-new 1.5L, 4-cylinder direct-injection turbo petrol engine. This motor, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, produces a maximum power of 160bhp and 255Nm of torque. A new 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine is also on offer, delivering power worth 106bhp and 145Nm of torque.
The diesel version uses a 1.5L engine, tuned for generating 118bhp of power. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic is exclusively offered with the naturally aspirated petrol engine. A FWD (front-wheel drive) system comes as standard across the model lineup.

Dimensions & Colours
The all-new Tata Sierra measures 4,340mm in length, 1,841mm in width and 1,715mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,730mm. The SUV offers 205mm of ground clearance and a boot space of 622-litres, expandable up to 1,257-litres. The model lineup is being offered in six monotone colour options – Coorg Clouds, Andaman Adventure, Munnar Mist, Pure Grey, Pristine White and Bengal Rouge.
Tata Sierra AWD Launch Details
An AWD (all-wheel drive) system will be introduced to the Sierra lineup in 2027, with both ICE and EV powertrain options. The SUV’s ARGOS architecture supports different body styles, wheelbases, powertrains and drivetrain systems.
