The Vinfast VF MPV 7 has been launched in India in a single variant, priced at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s the brand’s third electric offering and also its first MPV in the country. At this price point, it goes head-to-head against the Kia Carens Clavis EV, BYD eMax 7 and Mahindra XEV 9S.

The carmaker is offering several benefits for the Vinfast VF MPV 7 buyers including a special incentive of Rs 2 lakh for those switching from an ICE vehicle to an EV. It also comes with a 10-year battery warranty, a 7-year vehicle warranty, a 75 percent buyback scheme (based on the ex-showroom price) and free charging until 2029. The company plans to expand its sales network by establishing 75 touchpoints by the end of this year.

Powering the VF MPV 7 (Vinfast Limo Green) is a 60.13kWh battery pack, paired with a front-mounted electric motor, producing a maximum power of 204hp and 280Nm of torque. The electric MPV offers an ARAI-claimed range of 517km per charge. The VF MPV 7 can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes using an 80kW DC fast charger.

Key Features
The Vinfast VF MPV 7 offers two cabin theme options – Black and Brown and all-Black. The feature kit includes a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, leatherette upholstery, a floating centre console, tilt and telescopic adjustable three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, a 4-speaker sound system, automatic climate control, and more.
On the safety front, the new Vinfast electric MPV offers 6 airbags, an electronic parking brake, a rear parking camera with sensors, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Design Highlights
The design language of the Vinfast VF MPV 7 is in line with the Vinfast VF6 and VF7. The electric MPV features vertically oriented headlights, a closed-off grille, LED light bars at the front and rear, black lower-body cladding, a chrome-garnished window line, conventional pull-type door handles, aero-optimised 19-inch alloy wheels and wraparound taillamps.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 4,740mm in length, 1,872mm in width and 1,734mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,840mm. The EV offers a boot space of 126-litres.
