The next-generation Hyundai Creta has entered its testing phase, and has been spotted multiple times with heavy camouflage in South Korea. The SUV’s all-new model is set to hit Indian roads in 2027. Featuring significantly improved styling, new features, enhanced tech and a strong hybrid powertrain. While official details of the new Hyundai Creta 2027 are yet to be revealed, the SUV is expected to receive upgrades similar to those seen on the new-gen Kia Seltos, which recently went on sale in India.

Bigger Presence & New Alloys

The latest spy images show newly-designed 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels wrapped in 235/45 section tyres. The test mule also appears slightly larger and longer than the current model, suggesting a more commanding road presence.
Boss Mode & More
The spy images confirm the presence of a Boss mode that enables rear seat occupant to slide the front seat the front passenger seat forward to create additional legroom. Enhancing rear-seat comfort further, Hyundai will equip the SUV with rear AC vents and adjustable headrests for all three occupants. Higher variants could be exclusively offered with sporty black leatherette upholstery. The door trims also appear to be more premium than before.

Other Key Upgrades
The new Hyundai Creta 2027 is also expected to come with a larger and updated dual screen setup for infotainment and instrumentation, new connected car features, an upgraded ADAS suite along with 10-way powered driver seat, side parking sensors, and front and rear dashcams similar to the new Seltos.
Strong Hybrid On the Cards
One of the major upgrades will come in the form of an all-new strong hybrid powertrain. As per media reports, Hyundai might hybridize its 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine for the SUV. The existing 115bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol and 116bhp diesel engines will continue to be on offer. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual, a CVT, a 6-speed automatic, a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT.
