Renault India recently introduced the updated Kiger subcompact SUV and Triber compact MPV, priced from Rs 6.30 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). Both models will soon be followed by the entry-level Kwid hatchback facelift. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the 2025 Renault Kwid facelift is likely to hit showrooms around this Diwali season.
First introduced in India in 2015, the Kwid became an instant hit with SUV-inspired styling and highly competitive pricing. However, over time, the hatchback lost its sales momentum due to increasing competition and lack of major upgrades. It has received minor updates at intervals of nearly two years, but has not undergone a full generation change.
