TVS Motor Company has expanded its electric scooter portfolio with the all-new Orbiter, priced at Rs 99,900. At this price point, it directly takes on the Ather Rizta, which currently available in the price range of Rs 75,999 – Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for this new TVS electric scooter commenced nationwide. With its modern styling and decent driving range, the TVS Orbiter is targeted at young urban buyers as well as family EV two-wheeler customers.
TVS Orbiter – Colour Options
The Orbiter is being offered in 6 colour options – Lunar Grey, Neon Sunburst, Cosmic Titanium, Stellar Silver, Martian Copper and Stratos Blue.
TVS Orbiter – Range & Battery
The Orbiter features a 3.1kWh battery pack and an electric motor. It’s claimed to offer a riding range of 158km on a full charge. The two-wheeler maker hasn’t yet revealed the standard charging time or details of fast charging options.

The Orbiter is a simple looking electric scooter, featuring a large LED headlight, a small windscreen, wide handlebar, LED tail light bar and LED turn indicators, a straight line foot board, USB charging port and an easy access box. The e-scooter rides on the 14-inch front and 12-inch rear alloy wheels, shod with low rolling resistance tyres. The new TVS electric scooter offers a ground clearance of 165mm and a boot space of 34-litres.
