The smaller battery delivers a claimed range of 542km, while the larger battery pack promises 656km on a single charge.

Tata Safari Petrol
Tata Motors will launch the Harrier and Safari SUVs with a petrol powertrain by this financial year. If reports are to believed, the Tata Safari petrol will come with an all-new 1.5L TGDi petrol engine, pushing out a maximum power of 170PS and 280Nm of torque. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. No changes are expected inside and out.
Tata Safari EV
The Tata Safari EV is expected to arrive by early 2026. The electric SUV might share its powertrain with the newly-launched Harrier EV, which is available with a 65kWh (paired to a single motor) and a 75kWh battery pack (paired to dual motors). Similar to the Harrier EV, this 7-seater family car will come with an AWD system, reserved for the higher trims.
Maruti Mini MPV
Maruti Suzuki is reportedly working on a sub-4 metre MPV based on the Suzuki Spacia, which is sold in the Japanese market. The model is expected to feature tall and boxy stance similar to its Japanese counterpart, but might miss out on some modern features such as ADAS and sliding doors. The new Maruti MPV could be offered with an 82bhp, 1.2L petrol engine.
Renault Boreal
The Renault Boreal will essentially be the 7-seater version of the third-generation Duster, which is slated to go on sale in 2026. The Boreal will arrive within 6 to 12 months after the launch of new Duster. The three-row SUV will share design language, interior and features and powertrains with its 5-seater sibling. It’s expected to be offered with a 108bhp petrol engine, paired with a 51bhp motor, a 1.4kWh battery and a starter generator.
Nissan’s Boreal-Based SUV
Nissan will also introduce its own rebadged versions of the Duster 5-seater and 7-seater, sharing platform, features and powertrain. The new Nissan 7-seater SUV will feature the brand’s design language and some of its design elements could be inspired by the Magnite. According to reports, it might have more features onboard than its donor model. Similar to the Renault Boreal, the new Nissan three-row SUV will be offered with petrol and hybrid powertrain options.
