The interior of the upcoming Tata Sierra has been revealed again through a new set of spy images. One of its major highlights is the triple screen setup that includes a touchscreen infotainment system in the centre, a fully digital driver’s cluster behind the steering wheel and an additional display for the front seat passenger. A similar display setup is already available in the Mahindra XEV 9e.
The latest set of spy images also reveal that the Sierra will feature a flat-bottom steering wheel; however, its centre part featuring an illuminated Tata logo was covered. The SUV will also have a touch-based HVAC controls along with physical toggles for temperature adjustment.

Other highlights are likely to include an ambient lighting strip running on the dashboard, an auto dimming IRVM, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 540-degree surround camera view, built-in dashcam, premium JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, V2L and V2V functionalities (with the Sierra EV), wireless phone charger, OTA updates, ventilated and powered front seats, Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, Isofix child seat anchor and more.
The Tata Sierra will come with three engine options – petrol, diesel and electric. As per latest media reports, the ICE-powered version might be introduced first (possibly in November 2025), followed by the electric Sierra in January 2026. The petrol model will initially come with Tata’s all-new 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, and the new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine will come later.
The diesel version is likely to feature Harrier-sourced 2.0L Kryotec engine, producing a maximum power of 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. The Sierra EV is expected to borrow powertrains from the newly-launched Harrier EV. The Tata Sierra SUV lineup will come with both manual and automatic gearbox choices. The higher trims are expected to be offered exclusively with the AWD (all-wheel drive) system.
