The Skoda Octavia RS has finally been launched in India at Rs 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Only 100 units of the performance sedan were allocated for the Indian market, and all of them have already been sold out. Deliveries are slated to begin on 6th November, 2025.
According to the carmaker says that “the RS badge symbolizes more than just performance. It represents the emotional connection and trust its customers have in the Skoda brand.” Skoda is offering the Octavia RS with a 4 year/100,000 km warranty and 4-year complimentary Road-Side Assistance. The RS badge was first introduced in India in 2004, marking the debut of the country’s first-ever turbocharged petrol engine car.
Power & Performance
Powering the new Skoda Octavia RS is a 2.0L TSI turbo petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. This motor generates a maximum power of 265bhp and 370Nm of torque. The performance sedan does 0 to 100kmph in just 6.4 seconds, and offers a top speed of 250kmph. It has an advanced chassis setup, progressive steering and sports suspension, enhancing its overall handling and driving dynamics.
Colours, Tyres & Dimensions
The Octavia RS is being offered in five colour options – Mamba Green, Race Blue, Candy White, Velvet Red and Magic Black. The performance sedan runs on 19-inch Elias anthracite alloy wheels shod with low-profile 225/40 R19 sports tyres.
Dimensionally, the sedan measures 4,709mm in length, 1,829mm in width and 1,457mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,677mm and offers a segment leading boot space of 600-lits, which is expandable to 1,555-litres with the rear seats folded.
