Skoda is getting ready to rev the new Octavia RS sedan on Indian roads by November 2025. The performance sedan will be introduced as a CBU (completely built unit) in limited numbers. While the official price will be announced in the next couple of months, it’s estimated to be priced around Rs 50-55 lakh (ex-showroom).
Power & Performance
The major highlight of the Skoda Octavia RS is its powertrain. The fourth-generation model features a 2.0L turbo petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 265bhp and 370Nm of torque. It’s the same engine that powers the Volkswagen Golf GTI. Transmission duties will be performed by a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. It will come with a FWD (front-wheel drive) system and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential on the front axle.
This performance sedan does 0 to 100kmph in just 6.4 seconds and offers a top speed of 250kmph. Its braking system includes the 340 X 30mm front and 310 X 22mm rear ventilated disc brakes. Unlike the global-spec model, which comes with the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) adaptive suspension system, the India-spec version will not feature it.

Premium Cabin
The new Skoda Octavia RS comes with several premium features including a 13-inch touchscreen system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and satellite navigation, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, sport seats with contrasting red stitching and carbon décor, aluminum pedals, a flat-bottomed RS steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats, panoramic sunroof (optional) and more.
Safety Kit
On the safety front, the Octavia RS offers multiple airbags, electronic stability control, front assist with city emergency brake, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, driver alert system, blind spot detection and more. It offers a boot space of 600-litres, which can be expanded up to 1,555 litres by folding the rear seat.
Sporty Design
On the exterior, the Skoda Octavia RS features a newly-designed grille with black detailing, sporty RS-specific front and rear bumpers, LED Matrix headlamps with new Crystallinium elements, alloy wheels, new LED rear lights with animated indicators, sports exhaust system and a motion-activated tailgate.
