It’s been nearly four years since Skoda Auto India entered the highly competitive midsize SUV segment with the Kushaq. The model is now due for a midlife update, and ahead of its arrival early next year, test mules have already been spotted on the roads. The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected receive noticeable cosmetic changes and new features, while retaining the existing engines. In the midsize SUV segment, it will continue to challenge the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and other models.

New Skoda Kushaq 2026 – Design Changes
Spy spy images reveal that the updated Kushaq will feature a grille with slightly slimmer vertical slats, redesigned headlamps with a connected DRL setup, and a lower-set fog lamp assembly. The SUV will also get connected taillamps inspired by the new Kodiaq along with revised front and rear bumpers and newly-designed alloy wheels to further enhance its new look.
New Skoda Kushaq 2026 – Interior Upgrades
Exact details of the interior changes are still under the wraps. However, the 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift is likely to get new upholstery and trims. The major feature upgrades will come in the form Level-2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and a panoramic sunroof. Other features will be carried over from the current model such as

No mechanical changes are expected. The 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift will continue to come with the 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI petrol engines, delivering a maximum power of 115PS with 178Nm and 150PS with 250Nm, respectively. The smaller capacity engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the larger engine will be available with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
