Petrol, Hybrid & CNG Options:
Similar to the Grand Vitara, the new Maruti Escudo SUV will be offered with three powertrain options – a 1.5L K15C petrol mild hybrid, a 1.5L Atkinson cycle petrol hybrid and a CNG. The mild hybrid version will be available with two gearbox options – a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The strong hybrid model will get an eCVT unit.
