  • The updated Mahindra Thar is coming sooner than expected with big design changes and feature upgrades. The 3-door off-road SUV will derive design cues from the Thar Roxx, featuring a new grille, bumper, alloys and taillamps. Inside, it’s likely to get a larger infotainment, an updated instrument cluster, a new steering, ADAS, a 360-degree camera and more.
  • The Mahindra XEV 7e, a three-row version of the XEV 9e, is slated to arrive towards the end of 2025. It’s expected to share powertrains and features with its 5-seater sibling. It will be the third born-electric SUV based on the INGLO platform from Mahindra.

The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift is likely to draw some design elements from the BE 6 and XEV 9e, while retaining the engine options. The updated Scorpio N might receive only minimal design changes and feature revisions.
  • The new-generation Mahindra Bolero and its electric iteration will hit Indian roads in 2026. These will likely to be the first production models to feature the NU-IQ platform. The SUV will come with significantly improved styling and interior.
  • Mahindra’s top-selling subcompact SUV XUV 3XO will be introduced with an electric powertrain early next year. It could also become the first Mahindra in India to feature hybrid powertrain. The carmaker is likely to hybridize its 1.2L turbo petrol engine for this SUV.
