Mahindra & Mahindra has taken the wraps off the Vision X concept SUV alongside the Vision S, Vision T and Vision SXT SUV concepts. While the carmaker hasn’t revealed the product details, the Vision X is likely to be a part of the XUV family or the XEV range. The production-ready Vision S is among the first models to feature Mahindra’s all-new NU.IQ platform, which is compatible with multiple powertrains and drivetrain systems. This means the final model of the Mahindra Vision X could be offered with an ICE engine or an electric powertrain, or both.
The new Mahindra Vision X SUV concept features sharp creases and cuts along with a coupe-like rear windscreen. It has an upright stance and high ground clearance. The front fascia appears futuristic with an XEV-like grille with Twin Peaks logo in the centre, sleek headlamps and front bumper with slim lighting elements. Its fog lamp assembly seems to be inspired by the XEV 9e.
Moving to its side profile, the Mahindra Vision X sports squared wheel arches with aero-optimized dual-tone alloy wheels and low-profile tyres. The black cladding, flush-fitting door handles and a silver side step further enhance its sporty looks. At the rear, the concept SUV features a massive black bumper with slim lighting element, connected taillamps and a rear spoiler.
Mahindra Vision T & Vision S Break Cover!
Alongside the Vision X, Mahindra has also showcased the Vision T and Vision S concepts. The Mahindra Vision T looks more like an evolved version of the Thar.e concept, which debuted in South Africa two years ago. It is likely to enter production in 2027, and could join the Thar brand. The Mahindra Vision S is expected to join the rugged Scoprio lineup, possibly as an electric version or a new-generation model. At the Independence Day event, Mahindra also unveiled its all-new NU.IQ platform that’s claimed to offer the best-in-class seat height, interior space and drivability.
