Mahindra Vision T Concept SUV – What to Expect?

The teaser images suggest that the Vision T concept will showcase the Thar.e electric SUV, which was first unveiled in 2023. The model will feature a squarish bonnet with bonnet latches, pronounced wheel arches and rugged all-terrain tyres.

Upfront, the SUV might feature the Thar Roxx-inspired two-part grille with horizontal slats and headlamps with squarish lighting element flanked by two vertical elements. A similar pattern will be seen in the taillamps. The tailgate-mounted spare tyre and tailgate handle appear similar to the Mahindra Thar.e concept.

Mahindra Thar.e Concept Details

Showcased in 2023, the Mahindra Thar.e concept SUV is designed on the modified version of the INGLO platform that also underpins the BE 6 and XEV 9e. It’s likely to sit on a wheelbase measuring between 2,775mm – 2,975mm, compared to the 5-door Thar Roxx’s 2,850mm wheelbase.

Inside the cabin, the Thar.e electric SUV concept features a flat three-spoke steering wheel, a flat dashboard with grab handles at each end, a central touchscreen and a prominent central tunnel.

When launched, the Thar electric will not be positioned as an affordable offering. While is too early to comment on its pricing, the EV is expected to cost around Rs 18 lakh for the base variant and nearly Rs 25 lakh for top-end trim.
