Mahindra & Mahindra marked Independence Day by introducing four brand-new Vision SUV concepts, built on its latest NU.IQ modular platform. The lineup includes the Vision T, Vision X, Vision S, and Vision SXT. Among them, the Vision S, showcased in a striking bright yellow shade, stands out with its bold, rugged, and off-road-ready design. Industry speculations suggest that its production version could become a part of the Mahindra Scorpio family.
Upfront, the Mahindra Vision S concept features a black grille with Twin Peaks logon in the centre and triplets of vertically-stacked LEDs on either side. The inverted L-shaped LED headlamps, massive black bumper with a radar unit and parking sensors, the pixel-shaped fog lamps and a raised bonnet enhance its muscular appearance.

The concept SUV has roof-mounted lights, which might not make it to the production. The high ground clearance, pronounced wheel arches, 19-inch tyres and star-shaped wheels, thick cladding under the doors and red callipers and disc brakes add more to its sporty character. It also features a jerry can on the right and a roof ladder on the kerb side.
Mahindra Vision T & NU.IQ Platform Debut
The Indian automaker has introduced the Vision T SUV concept, which is likely to become part of the Thar lineup. This model looks like a more refined evolution of the Thar.e concept that was first revealed in 2023. Alongside this, Mahindra also showcased its brand-new NU.IQ platform on a global stage. The first mass-production SUV based on this platform is expected to launch on Indian roads by 2027.
In another highlight, Mahindra has rolled out the world’s first Batman-themed SUV, created in partnership with Warner Bros. Named the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition, the vehicle is priced at ₹27.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for this exclusive model will open on August 23, with deliveries beginning in September. Only 300 units of this limited-edition SUV will be available to buyers in India.
