BMW India has introduced two new X5 M Sport Pro variants with both petrol and diesel engine options. The new BMW X5 xDrive 40i M Sport Pro SUV has been priced at Rs 1.13 crore, while the X5 xDrive 30d M Sport Pro costs Rs 1.15 crore (all, ex-showroom). These new variants receive sporty cosmetic enhancements and additional off-road features over the standard X5.
Special Features:
The new BMW X5 xDrive 40i M Sport Pro and xDrive 30d M Sport Pro features a high gloss black finish on the signature BMW grille, air dam and exhaust trims. Both variants come with the M Sport exhaust and M Sport brakes with brake calipers in high gloss red. Inside the cabin, the new Sport Pro variants get piano black elements on the dashboard and M seat belts.

4 Off-Road Modes:
BMW also offers an xOffroad package with the new X5 xDrive 40i M Sport Pro and xDrive 30d M Sport Pro variants. It includes four off-road driving modes – xSand, xRocks, xGravel and zSnow. These modes allow the driver to control and adjust multiple settings such as acceleration response, ideal vehicle height settings, corrective inputs for the DSC (dynamic stability control) system, transmission control and xDrive system.
Petrol & Diesel Power:
No mechanical changes have been made to the new variants. Similar to the regular X5 SUV, the new Sport Pro variants come with the 3.0L, 6-cylinder turbo and diesel engines, delivering a maximum power of 375bhp with 520Nm and 282bhp with 650Nm, respectively. Both engines are benefited with a 48V mild hybrid system, which provides an additional 12bhp and 200Nm. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
