Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has announced that the Hyundai CRETA has emerged as the highest-selling model in the country from January to July 2025 (across all segments). With a remarkable 1,17,458 units sold during this period with a year-on-year growth of 8% (vs Jan-Jul 2024), Hyundai CRETA continues to dominate the Indian automotive landscape, solidifying its reputation as a top choice among customers.

The Hyundai Creta facelift is available with the 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol and 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine options. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are on offer. The SUV lineup is currently offered in the price range of Rs 11.11 lakh – Rs 20.50 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
Recently, the Creta celebrated its 10 successful years in India. In 2025, it’s the top-selling SUV and even topped all car sales in 3 out of 6 months. Over 12 lakh (1.2) million Creta SUVs have been sold since its launch, and it currently dominates the mid-size SUV segment with over 31 percent market share.
