Honda Cars India has announced that it will pass on the full benefits of the GST reforms 2025 to its customers, effective from 22nd September. The carmaker welcomed the government’s decision and said, “These progressive measures will not only make vehicles more accessible to customers but also provide a strong impetus to festive season demand.” Aiming to further boost sales, the Japanese automaker is offering attractive festive offers across its product lineup.

Following the GST reforms, the second-generation Honda Amaze has become more affordable by up to Rs 72,800, while the third-gen Amaze has received a price cut of up to Rs 95,500. Prices of the Honda Elevate have been reduced by up to Rs 58,400, and the Honda City is now cheaper by up to Rs 57,500.

Elevate’s Ivory & Feature Upgrades
Recently, Honda introduced the Elevate midsize SUV with new interior colour options and enhanced styling elements along with special packages. The higher ZX trim now comes with a new Ivory cabin theme with Ivory soft touch inserts on the door lining and instrument panel, and Ivory leatherette seats. Additional features such as 7 colour ambient lighting, a new 360-degree surround vision camera and a new Alpha-Bolad plus grille are offered as options. The V and VX trims have also received updates.
Honda Elevate Hybrid In 2026
In other news, the carmaker is planning to launch the Elevate hybrid SUV during 2026 festive season. While the powertrain details remain undisclosed, the company is likely to use the City e:HEV’s Atkinson Cycle 1.5L, 4-cylidner petrol hybrid powertrain paired with an eCVT gearbox. The company’s Tapukara manufacturing facility will serve as production hub for the Honda Elevate hybrid.
