Ather’s premium 450 Apex electric scooter has become smarter with the addition of Infinity Cruise control system. The updated version was unveiled at the Ather Community Day 2025 in Bengaluru. From today, all new units of the 2025 Ather 450 Apex will be available with this new feature, while the existing owners of the scooter will receive it via an OTA (over-the-air) update.

Infinity Cruise Explained:
The Infinity Cruise is Ather’s own advanced cruise control system designed specifically for Indian riding conditions. It has three riding modes for added convenience – City Cruise, Hill Cruise and Crawl Control.
- The City Cruise ensures a stable speed on urban roads. It works across speeds, from slow city rides to 90 km/h on highways, without disengaging when the rider brakes or changes speed, adapting seamlessly to the new pace.
- The Hill Control manages inclines with ease, precisely delivering torque for uphill climbs. It uses the Magic Braking Algorithm (which powers Magic Twist) for downhill descents, maintaining a consistent speed through regenerative braking without manual intervention.
- The Crawl Control ensures smooth low-speed navigation on rough or uneven roads at speeds as low as 10 km/h. It is enhanced with Multimode Traction Control for stability on wet or slippery surfaces.

Battery & Range:
No mechanical changes have been made to the 2025 Ather 450 Apex. The electric scooter continues to feature a 3.7kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 157km on a full charge. Its 7kW motor generates a maximum power of 9.39bhp and 26Nm of torque. The 450 Apex offers five riding modes including Wrap+ mode, and accelerates 0 to 40kmph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 100kmph.
Features:
The 2025 Ather 450 Apex carries the same minimalistic design language and offers features such as a 7-inch TFT screen, Google Maps navigation and more. The scooter has an underseat storage space of up to 34-litres and a frunk of 22-litres.
