The next-generation Renault Duster SUV is all set to hit Indian roads early next year. The model is expected to enter production in the coming weeks. In the midsize SUV segment, the all-new Duster will take on popular rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and several others.

The SUV is already on sale in select global markets including Australia and the India-spec version is expected to share most of its design elements, features and mechanical details with the global model. The overall design and styling of the 2026 Renault Duster have evolved significantly with the generational upgrade. The SUV now features all LED lights along with a new large signature grille, Y-shaped elements in headlamps and taillamps, revised bumpers, squared wheel arches, pronounced body cladding and newly-designed alloy wheels.
The global-spec model offers an approach angle of 31 degrees and a departure angle of 36 degrees. Dimensionally, it measures 4,345mm in length, 1,822mm in width and 1,660mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,658mm. The SUV is available with both 4X2 and 4X4 variant, featuring a ground clearance of 212mm and 174mm, respectively.
Colour Options
The new Renault Duster is available in seven colour options – Shadow Grey, Cedar Green, Khaki Green, Solid White, Terracotta, Pearlescent Black and Sandstone. The same paint schemes are likely to be offered with the India-spec model as well.

Engine Options
For the Indian market, the 2026 Renault Duster is expected to be offered with multiple petrol engines. In global markets, the SUV is currently available with a 160bhp, 1.3L petrol and a 130bhp, 1.2L mild hybrid petrol engine options. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are on offer. The 4X4 drivetrain system is limited to the higher variants.
A strong hybrid powertrain will also join the model lineup at a later stage. Renault is also evaluating the possibility of offering a CNG variant, which if introduced, could come as a retrofit option.
