Maruti Escudo
A new Maruti midsize SUV is slated to launch on September 3, 2025. While its official name is yet to be announced, the model is widely referred to as the Maruti Escudo. Based on the Grand Vitara, it will be sold exclusively through the Arena dealership network.
As per leaked information, the Maruti Escudo will be the first Maruti Suzuki in India to feature Dolby Atmos tech and a Level-2 ADAS suite. It will also get a powered tailgate and 4WD (four-wheel drive) system. Similar to the Grand Vitara, the new Maruti midsize SUV will come with three engine options – 1.5L petrol, 1.5L hybrid and CNG.
New-Gen Hyundai Venue
The third-generation Hyundai Venue has been spotted multiple times in camouflage, revealing a few design changes. The compact SUV is expected to come with significantly improved styling and a more premium interior, while retaining the existing 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. Inside, it’s likely to receive a larger touchscreen, new switchgear on the centre console and features like ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and an updated ADAS suite.
Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors is all set to reintroduce the Sierra nameplate with all-new design, modern interior and features and multiple powertrains. The Sierra EV will arrive in showrooms during the 2025 Diwali season, while its ICE-powered version is expected to launch in early 2026. It might source the 65kWh and 75kWH LFP battery packs from the Tata Harrier EV. The higher trims could be offered with a QWD (quad wheel drive) system option. The Tata Sierra is expected to be one of the well-equipped SUVs in its segment.
