The next few months will be action-packed for the Indian automotive industry, with several important product launches planned across segments. OEMs like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Renault and Nissan are all set to launch new ICE (internal combustion engine) SUVs and family cars. Maruti Escudo
Maruti Suzuki will roll out an all-new midsize SUV, widely referred to as the ‘Esucdo’ so far. It will be the new flagship model in the Arena lineup, based on the Grand Vitara. According to media reports, the Maruti Escudo will be the brand’s first model to feature Level-2 ADAS and Dolby Atmos tech. Furthermore, it will also be the first Maruti Suzuki to feature an underbody CNG tank. The Escudo will also be available with the petrol mild hybrid and strong hybrid powertrains.
Tata Punch Facelift
The updated Tata Punch and Punch EV will come with subtle design changes and feature upgrades. While the official details are still under the wraps, the SUV is likely to come with a fully digital instrument cluster, a larger touchscreen, Altroz-sourced two-spoke steering and a touch-based HVAC control panel. No changes are expected under the hood.
New-Gen Hyundai Venue

Hyundai Motor India has confirmed that the all-new Venue will hit showrooms on 24th October, 2025. The SUV is expected to receive significant design changes and feature upgrades, while retaining the existing engine setup. The 2025 Hyundai Venue might borrow some of its design elements from the Creta and Alcazar. Feature highlights could include ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, larger display screens and an ADAS suite.
Tata Sierra
Tata is betting big on the all-new Sierra SUV, which will be positioned against the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Reports suggest it will be initially offered with a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, instead of the previously reported 170bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol motor. The turbo petrol version will be introduced at a later stage. An electric version will also be on offer, sharing its powertrains with the Harrier EV. This means, the Tata Sierra EV will come with the 65kWh and 75kWh battery options, and deliver a range of over 550km.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Facelift
Mahindra & Mahindra will unveil the updated Bolero Neo on 15th August 2025 alongside the four new concept SUVs and a brand-new flexible platform. Spy images suggest that the SUV will feature the Thar Roxx-like circular headlamps, new LED fog lamps, tweaked bumper and a more upright nose. The cabin is expected to be more premium with features such as a larger touchscreen, new seat upholstery, a sunroof and several new features.
Renault Kiger Facelift
The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift will soon on sale in India; however, its official launch date is yet to be announced. The new model is expected receive changes at the front end along with new Renault logo. The cabin might witness improvement in material quality along with an enhanced feature kit. The existing 72bhp, 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol and 100bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol engine are likely be carried over to the facelifted version.
Nissan Tirber-based MPV
Nissan India will introduce one of its planned re-badged Renault models in the coming months. It will be a sub-4 meter MPV based on the Renault Triber, featuring a completely new design. The official teaser reveal that it will carry Nissan’s signature grille, a sporty bumper with silver wraparound treatment, projector headlamps and new LED DRLs. It will also get new alloy wheels and functional roof rails. The upcoming Nissan MPV is likely to use the Triber’s 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine with manual and AMT gearbox options.
