The 2025 Tata Punch facelift is expected to receive minimal changes inside and out, while continuing with the existing engines. Spy images reveal that the subcompact SUV will feature a slightly revised front grille, redesigned bumpers and new alloy wheels. The interior could be upgraded with a new steering wheel sourced from the Altroz, a revised climate control panel and an updated instrument cluster. The updated Punch will continue to be offered with the 87.8PS, 1.2L petrol and CNG options.
The updated Tata Punch EV is reported to come with a larger 45kWh battery pack, borrowed from the Nexon EV. This battery delivers a claimed power of 145bhp and 215Nm of torque, along with an ARAI-claimed range of 489km on a single charge. The EV might also get a larger infotainment system, new upholstery and trims, a 360-degree camera with blind sport monitor and a few more features.

The iconic Tata Sierra nameplate is set to make a grand comeback with all-new design, modern interior, advanced tech and multiple powertrains. Initially, it will be offered with all-electric powertrain, which is likely to be borrowed from the Harrier EV. The latter comes with the 65kWh and 75kWh battery pack options and an optional QWD system.
The ICE-powered Tata Sierra will arrive in early 2026. The SUV will be introduced with an all-new 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and a 2.0L diesel engine. A 1.5L turbo petrol engine will be offered at a later stage. The Sierra EV will compete with the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV and Tata Curvv EV, while the ICE-powered version will take on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and other midsize SUVs.
