- Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch a new midsize SUV (known as Escudo) on 3rd September 2025, which will be followed by its first-ever electric SUV – the e Vitara.
- Hyundai has confirmed the second-generation Venue for 24th October, 2025. The subcompact SUV will receive comprehensive changes, while retaining the engine setup. The Hyundai Bayon compact crossover is reported hit Indian shores in mid-2026.
- After updating the Kiger and Triber, Renault India will introduce the Kwid facelift with minimal design changes and feature upgrades.
- Vinfast will make its India debut with the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in the coming months. Similar to their global-spec version, the India-spec models are expected to be offered with two battery options.
- Tata Motors will launch the updated Punch and Punch EV in October 2025, while the petrol versions of the Harrier and Safari SUVs will launch early next year. The highly-awaited Tata Sierra will debut in November 2025 with an electric powertrain, while its ICE version will follow in early 2026.
- Mahindra & Mahindra will roll out its third INGLO-based EV – the XEV 7e – in late 2025. The electric iteration of the XUV 3XO subcompact SUV along with the updated XUV700, Thar 3-door and Scorpio N are also scheduled for launch in coming months.
- The official launch timeline of the new-gen Kia Seltos is yet to be revealed; however, the SUV is reported to debut in November 2025 with a market launch by April 2026. It will be soon followed by the Kia Syros EV.
- Skoda and Volkswagen are ready to update their popular midsize SUVs (Kushaq and Taigun) and sedans (Slavia and Virtus). Skoda has also plans for the new Octavia RS and next-gen Superb, while Volkswagen will introduce the Tayron – a new 7-seater SUV.
- The BYD is gearing up to launch the Atto 2 electric SUV towards the end of 2025 or early 2026. It will be positioned against the Hyundai Creta Electric and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara.
