XEV 9e-Inspired Design
Spy images suggest that the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will draw design cues from Mahindra’s new-gen XEV 9e born electric SUV. The front facia will undergo major revisions, featuring a newly-designed grille with more slanted vertical slats, new twin-pod LED headlamps, new signature LED DRLs, and a redesigned lower section. The side and rear profiles are likely to remain largely unchanged.
Triple Screen Setup
The major highlight of the cabin will be a triple screen setup as we have seen in the XEV 9e. Each unit is likely to measure 12.3-inch and support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The dashboard will also be redesigned. The new Mahindra XUV700 facelift might also be offered with a Harman/Kardon system. Most of the existing features will be carried over from the current model.
Same Engine
No mechanical changes will be made to the new XUV700. The SUV will continue to come with the 2.0L turbo mStallion petrol and 2.0L mHawk diesel engines, delivering power worth 200PS with 380Nm and 155PS with 360Nm, respectively. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will continue to be on offer.
Marginal Price Hike
Considering the subtle cosmetic and feature additions, the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to receive minor price hike. Currently, the SUV lineup is available in the price range of Rs 14.49 lakh – Rs 25.14 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
