The Kia Seltos midsize SUV is all set to receive its first generational upgrade in 2026. As of now, there is no official word on its launch timeline. However, the next-gen model is expected to debut early next year, followed by a hybrid version in 2027. The 2026 Kia Seltos is likely to come with significantly improved styling, new features and updated tech, while retaining the existing engine options.
New Design Language
The all-new Seltos will feature KiaтАЩs latest тАШOpposites UnitedтАЩ design language, which made its India debut with the Kia Carens. The front fascia is likely to witness radical changes including a newly-designed grille, redesigned foglamp assembly and slim and angular vertical DRLs. Spy images suggest that the SUV will ride on the new alloy wheels and sport a full LED light strip connecting the taillamps.

Longer Than Before
In global markets, the new-gen Seltos will grow in length by nearly 100mm, making it the longest SUV in its category. It will be longer the Jeep Compass. It remains to be seen whether the India-spec version will also receive the same dimensional changes or retain the current proportions.
More Features
Inside, the 2026 Kia Seltos is expected to feature the Trinity Panoramic Display, borrowed from the Syros. This triple screen setup includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 5-inch touchscreen for climate control functions. It will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Along with the existing features, the new Kia Seltos 2026 will also offer some additional goodies for better in-cabin experience.
Engine Options
Initially, the new-gen Seltos will continue to be offered with the same 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines. A hybrid version will join the lineup at a later stage. While its technical specifications are yet to be revealed, the Seltos hybrid might be offered with a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a strong hybrid system.
