India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has introduced the new 2025 Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 in the country. The bike lineup comes in two variants – STD and DLX – priced at Rs 1,69,550 and Rs 1,80,500, respectively (all, ex-showroom). Bookings for the updated model have been commenced across the country and deliveries are likely to start soon. The updated MT-15 receives new features and colours, while retaining the same engine.

2025 Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 – Features
The updated model offers a new colour TFT display, supporting Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets a traction control system. Rider can access features such as malfunction alerts, fuel consumption, revs dashboard, a rider ranking system, parking location and maintenance recommendations through the Y-Connect mobile app.

The Yamaha MT-15 DLX variant is being offered in two new colour options – Vivid Violet Metallic and Ice Storm. The bike can also be had in Metallic Silver Cyan and Metallic Black paint schemes.

No changes have been made to its engine. Similar to the previous model, the updated one uses a 155cc, single-cylinder, fuel injected engine boosted with VVA (Variable Valve Actuation). This motor produces a maximum power of 18.1bhp at 10,000rpm and 14.1Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The bike gets a 6-speed gearbox with an Assist & Slipper clutch.
The suspension system consists of a USD (upside down) fork at the front and monoshock at the rear. It has been assembled with 17-inch alloy wheels. The new Yamaha MT-15 derives its stopping power from the front and rear disc brakes.
