Must Read

Tata Motors has planned two product launches before the end of 2025 – the Punch facelift and the all-new Sierra EV. However, the exact launch dates for both SUVs are yet to be revealed. Talking about the 2025 Tata Punch facelift, the compact crossover is likely to receive noticeable changes inside and out, while retaining the existing engine options.

Several spy images and videos have already surfaced online, revealing interesting details. Here, we have listed the top 10 big changes, which are expected in the new Tata Punch.

  • Redesigned grille
  • New headlights
  • Tweaked bumpers
  • New alloy wheel design
  • Connected tail light with new LED units
  • New 2-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo
  • Touch-based HVAC control panel
  • Free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen
  • 8-speaker music system
  • Ventilated seats

Punch EV-Inspired Design Changes

Spy images reveal that the updated Punch will derive some design cues from its electric counterpart. Upfront, it will feature a newly-designed grille, redesigned headlamps and slightly revised bumper. While the side profile will remain largely unchanged, it will get newly-designed alloy wheels. The rear profile will look more refreshing with the tweaked bumper and connected taillamps with new LED units as we have seen in the Nexon.

More Features

The 2025 Tata Punch facelift will feature a new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, borrowed from the new Altroz. It will also receive a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The touch-based HVAC control panel could be carried over from the Punch EV. Tata might also equip the new Punch with ventilated front seats and an upgraded 8-speaker audio system.

Same Petrol & CNG Engines

Mechanically, the new Tata Punch 2025 will remain unchanged. The compact crossover will continue to use the 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, pushing out a maximum power of 87bhp and 115Nm of torque. The CNG variants will feature the same dual-cylinder i-CNG technology.
