The 2025 Tata Punch EV has been launched in India with two major updates. The electric compact SUV receives two new colour schemes – Pure Grey and Supernova Copper. These shades join the existing colour palette, which includes Fearless Red, Empowered Oxide, Daytona Grey, Seaweed and Pristine White.

Faster Charging For Long-Range Version
Another significant upgrade is in its charging system. The updated Punch EV LR (Long-Range) version is now available with a faster charging option. Using a 50kW DC fast charger, the 2025 Tata Punch EV LR can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. This means, it will gain enough charge for up to 90km range in just 15 minutes via DC fast charging.
Battery, Range & Charging Options
No other changes have been made to the 2025 Tata Punch EV. The electric compact SUV continues to be offered with two battery options – a 25kWh and a 35kWh – delivering an MIDC range of 315km and 421km, respectively.
The EV is available with the 3.3kW wall box charger and 7.2kW fast charging options. DC fast charging is supported, with the Standard version taking nearly 56 minutes to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent. The Punch EV Long Range variants are good enough for 122hp and 190Nm, while the Standard variants offer power worth 82hp and 114Nm of torque.
