Tata Motors has given a major safety boost to its top-selling Nexon subcompact SUV just ahead of Diwali 2025. The updated model is now available with Level-1 ADAS (autonomous driver assistance system); however, it’s limited to the range-topping Fearless Plus PS petrol-DCT variant.

The Fearless Plus PS with ADAS has been priced at Rs 13.53 lakh, making it nearly Rs 26,000 more expensive than the Fearless Plus PS without ADAS variant. The Level-1 ADAS suite offers advanced safety features such as lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic signal recognition, front collision warning and high beam assist.

Additionally, the 2025 Tata Nexon receives a Red Dark Edition with several cosmetic enhancements. This sporty edition is based on the Fearless Plus PS trim, and comes with all engine-gearbox combinations. Prices of the Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition start from Rs 12.44 lakh for the turbo-petrol manual variant and go up to Rs 14.15 lakh for the top-end diesel AMT variant. Its up to Rs 28,000 more expensive than the regular Fearless Plus PS variant.
Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition – Special Features
The Nexon Red Dark Edition comes painted in Atlas Black colour and features a Red Dark badge on the fender, darkened-out wheels and badges. Inside, this sporty edition offers all-black dashboard with red finished seats. Customized themed graphics for the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and instrument cluster further enhance its premium appeal.
Rear Sunshades For Top Trim
In terms of features, the 2025 Tata Nexon now gets rear sunshades in top-end trim. The rest of feature list remains unchanged including a panoramic sunroof, 9-speaker JBL sound system, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push button, 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD and more.
Same Engines
No changes have been made under the hood. The 2025 Tata Nexon continues to use the 120PS, 1.2L turbo petrol, 118PS, 1.5L diesel and 100PS, 1.2L petrol + CNG engines. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT and a 7-speed DCT.
