2025 Renault Kiger Launched – 6 Airbags, New Features & Design

Renault India has introduced the refreshed Kiger compact SUV, marking it as the second product to roll out under the company’s “Rethink” brand transformation strategy. The new Kiger is being offered in four trims – Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion – with introductory prices ranging between ₹6.29 lakh and ₹11.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices for the AMT versions will be revealed later.

Despite a slight increase of around ₹14,000 compared to the outgoing model, the Kiger continues to rank among the most affordable subcompact SUVs in India. The 2025 facelift brings notable upgrades to both the exterior and interior design, while maintaining the same engine and gearbox options as before.

2025 Renault Kiger – Improved Design

Major cosmetic changes have been made at the front fascia. The new Renault Kiger 2025 features a grille with Renault’s new logo in the centre and a revised bumper with a silver surround. The split headlamp setup, DRLs and fog lamp clusters; however, remain unchanged. Other design highlights include newly-designed 16-inch alloy wheels and revised rear bumper.

The updated Kiger lineup also receive a new Green colour scheme, in addition to the existing 9 shades – Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, Caspian Blue, Radiant Red with Black Roof, Caspian Blue with Black Roof, Stealth Black, Moonlight Silver with Black Roof, Pearl White with Mystery Black and Ice cool white with Black Roof. The top-end variants get a dual-tone finish as an option. No changes have been made to its overall dimensions.

The new Renault Kiger 2025 also receives new black and light grey dashboard. All variants are now available with 6 airbags, electronic stability program, a tyre pressure monitoring system and hill start assist. Other features are carried over from the previous model including

New Renault Kiger – Petrol Engines

The new Renault Kiger 2025 continues to come with two petrol engine options – a 72bhp, 1.0L naturally aspirated and 100bhp, 1.0L turbocharged. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT and a CVT automatic.
