Bigger Display, ADAS & More!
Starting with the interior, the new Mahindra Thar 2025 will have more features on-board than its current model. The SUV will feature a larger touchscreen infotainment system running on the latest UI, an updated driver’s display and a new electric steering wheel. The updated Thar 3-door will also borrow several features from the Thar Roxx including a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, wireless phone charger, rear disc brakes and Level-2 ADAS (autonomous driver assistance system).
Improved Styling
The overall design and styling of the new 2025 Mahindra Thar will be inspired by the Thar Roxx. The front fascia will heavily revised with a newly-designed grille featuring double-stacked slats, a slightly tweaked bumper and redesigned headlamps. Other design highlights will include the newly-designed alloy wheels, redesigned taillamps and revised rear bumper.
Mahindra might also introduce new exterior colour scheme to the updated Thar model lineup. Currently, the SUV is available in five paint options – Deep Grey, Red Rage, Everest White, Desert Fury, Deep Forest and Stealth Black.
Petrol & Diesel Engines
Mechanically, the new Mahindra Thar 2025 is likely to remain unchanged. This means, buyers will have three engine options to choose including 152bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol, 119bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel and 130bhp, 2.2L turbo diesel. Transmissions will also be carried over from the current model. Similar to the existing version, the updated Thar 3-door will be available with both RWD (rear-wheel drive) and 4WD (four-wheel drive) options.
