The recent sighting of the new 2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo facelift hints at its imminent launch. The test mule was spotted in a semi-camouflaged form, with the front fascia covered while the rest of design details were exposed. The updated model will feature newly-designed alloy wheels and a slightly revised grille with more pronounced horizontal slats. The alloy size and tyre profile are likely to remain unchanged.
Design elements such as the signature upright stance, headlamp and fog lamp assemblies, rear taillamps, tailgate mounted spare wheel and high mounted stop lights will also be carried over from the current model.
Minimal upgrades are expected inside the cabin as well. The new 2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo facelift is likely to come with a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated seats, automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad and keyless go system with push-button start.
Mechanically, the new Mahindra Bolero Neo 2025 is expected to remain unchanged. The SUV will continue to use a 1.5L, 3-cylinder mHawk 100 turbo diesel engine, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This motor pushes out a maximum power of 100bhp and 260Nm of torque. Considering the increasing demand of automatic models, Mahindra might introduce an AMT gearbox with the updated Bolero Neo. However, the RWD (rear-wheel drive) system and 4X2 configuration will be carried over from the pre-facelift.
Next-Generation Mahindra Bolero In 2026
Mahindra & Mahindra has confirmed that the new-generation Bolero and Bolero EV will arrive in 2026. The all-new Bolero is expected to be the first production model to feature Mahindra’s new NU_IQ flexible platform, which debuted on 15th August 2025. The SUV will take a big leap in terms of design, interior and features.
Rumour has it that the new Mahindra Bolero could be among the brand’s first hybrid models in India. Spy images reveal that the SUV might derive some design cues from the XUV700, and could be offered with features such as a panoramic sunroof and ADAS suite.
